If you need to see a doctor in Dublin and don't want to wait days or weeks for an appointment, a same-day GP service can save you a lot of stress. At Evelyn's Medical Care in Dublin 1, we offer same-day appointments and walk-in care for new and existing patients.
What is a same-day GP appointment?
A same-day GP appointment means you can see a doctor on the day you contact us — no long waiting lists, no weeks of delay. You can book in the morning and be seen the same afternoon, or simply walk in during our opening hours.
How to book a same-day appointment
The fastest way is to message us on WhatsApp. Tell us briefly what you need, and we'll let you know the earliest available slot. You can also call us directly.
We speak English and Spanish, so you can communicate in whichever language you're most comfortable with.
What can a same-day GP help with?
Our same-day GP service covers a wide range of needs, including:
- Acute illness — colds, flu, infections, rashes, stomach bugs
- Repeat prescriptions and medication reviews
- Sick certificates for work or college

Walk-in or book ahead?
Both work. If you walk in, we'll fit you in as soon as a slot is available. If you book ahead on WhatsApp, you can secure a specific time and reduce your wait. For early morning slots, we recommend booking the day before or messaging us first thing in the morning.
Where are we located?
We are at 31/32 Cumberland St N, Dublin 1, in the city centre — easily accessible by Luas, bus or on foot from anywhere in central Dublin.
How much does it cost?
A standard consultation is €65. New patients get 20% off their first consultation with code GP-WEB. Follow-up within two weeks is €45.50. Prescriptions, certificates and forms are €25 each.
Do I need to be registered?
No. We are a private clinic and you do not need to be a registered patient. You can simply walk in or book on WhatsApp — no medical card required, no transfer from another GP needed.
